This. If your taming isn't 95% automated then you're doing it wrong. Even at GM (when i'm not trying to gain) most of my taming is automated when i'm out trying to tame things.
You can GM taming by touching your mouse/keyboard only once every 30 seconds or so. Doing so frees you up to practice your guitar riffs in between the 30 second intervals of resetting/repositioning your taming script, watch porn, or light things on fire.
Oh, and get peacemaking. It makes taming from 70-GM exponentially easier.
Another route i wish i went was to start your tamer with dexxer skills so you can kill your tames VERY quickly (without the costs of magery) so your spawn stays fresh and populated. You can even get scripts that kill your tames for you when you're done. Once you GM you can re roll your dexxer skills to better suit your template.
Also there are plenty of bull pens to run a circuit. Mark yourself a rune book, hope to each spot while killing your tames and by the time you get back to spot #1 everything should be respawned. Del Pass is far more efficient than this though...
