Before talismans the warden was actually impossible without exploiting (before he was nerfed) or without an obscene number of people the likes of which the Asylum hasn't seen since the opening event. Oh, and he was exploited. Then he was nerfed and exploits were fixed yet still he was damn near impossible.

And now with talismans? He can be two-manned.

And nothing else was tweaked?

LAWL $ wins AGAIN !

fallen was the first dude to show me how to do it, and we had so many fun countless hours fighting the warden down there.

without meta mages and dexers it too a lot of coordination and a long time to kill.

but was still worth it !

fafnir has some nice drops. SUPER RARE, NO CHANCE OF RELIC.

Andromech, you must farm Hythloth, and farm 50 crystals put them in the altar to summon the boss.

Andromech rarely drops a kingslayer title scroll on the ground, SUPER RARE, NO CHANCE OF RELIC

VERY SMALL CHANCE FOR TURNING IN CRYSTALS. MEDIUM CHANCE FOR PVP

The warden, Spawns in less than 4 hours. you need keys to go to the last level where he spawns.

The warden drops 4 powerscrolls + relics like a champ spawn.

The warden drops the ultra white title hue, rarely.

The warden drops warden armor all the time.

always drops warden title scroll.

zero chance of pvp.

with new meta dexers and mages, with only 2 people the warden can be beat in about 8 minutes.

This is just a thought, with all the balancing the staff has done to the game, can we do something about the warden, either make it to where when you go through a door there you lose a key so you have to farm it again.

Or put in a crystal turn in like there is everywhere else, so you have to farm 50 crystals to spawn him.

change it to 1 powerscroll like other dungeon bosses, and not champ spawn loot for a 5 minute boss.


move him to another dungeon as a dungeon boss, or something.

this is the most unbalanced thing for pvm we have in the server right now.

Translation, we don't get to camp this 6 times a day anymore, please nerf it.

From my knowledge , vet players from POWER has failed trying to kill Warden . Werkt guild even have problems getting green keys . The only guild that managed to do it succesfully recently is EQMS and they brought 6-8 ( maybe more ) max out meta dexers / mages / tamers etc .

We did it quite a few times now. We just happened to bring a bunch when we saw you last. Funny, 5-6 eqms and it takes 2 or 3 $ to literally kamikaze grief and still did nothing=)

Another wierd logic from @Tonycakes .

So let me ask you a few simple questions :

- farming for yellow keys has no risk ?
- farming for red keys too ?
-also How long does it take to farm green keys , is that considered no risk as well ?
-Most of the mobs inside Asylum are HIGH END MOBS ? is that considered no increased risk ?
-Lastly if Warden is so easy , why so many guilds have failed trying to do it ?
- Its so easy but you guys wont even attempt it anymore if $ guild is online ???


In conclusion , u guys are just salty $ guild basically rolled your guild over at Asylum .

This should be a players driven solution .

i have a couple of recommendations for you . Maybe get your act together ? Recruit more players ? Stop being Bad at UO ?

it takes to much time to farm the keys. then dieing loosing the keys then farm again getting pked.

For me i search for better Spots to waste my Time inGame (banksitting)

People have their reasons for starting and stopping every single goddamn aspect of this game. Some activities I do consistently but most are all-or-nothing. People get on kicks and get off them. Quit that talk you're missing the point.

I think the highlights of this thread are as follows:

As previously stated people pick and choose what they do and when they do it. Timing is everything. Someone blowing the whistle on an activity they used to heavily participate in does make this a bit awkward but does not take any merit away from the suggestion itself. It's a good suggestion regardless of the source.

The warden is obviously fucked...massive drops for a task that is quite difficult for the average player yet easily and frequently repeatable by people who are already maxed out. Better rewards than champs but on the same timer with a significantly higher barrier to entry...that means you are really padding the pockets of a select few players which is a bullshit model for any MMO. I actually didn't realize just how fucked up that balance is so it's good this post was made.

Adding to the above, introducing talismans opened a can of worms as @TheFallen previously stated. Powerful abilities crushing shit that borders on impossible to those without is gonnnnnnna result in some issues with just overall fairness. Either the timer needs cranked way up or the rewards need toned way down to at least stop the bleeding. Fuck who, what, when, and where. It's just necessary for the health and longevity of the shard and wealth inequality.

The real takeaway: Barracoon is mad because the Asylum was his last refuge. His mind is already lost but he's really gonna flip his shit when his last cash cow gets nerfed.

EASY to kill the Warden ? Think again .

There are so many max out meta mages / dexers / but only a handful of people have killed the Warden .

Werkt and POWER have yet to kill the Warden and the only other guild that manage to kill it recently is EQMS ( they brought in 6-8 players ) . kudos to @Josh D. He is a much better PvMer than i thought he was .

Many other guilds have tried and failed too and that includes you @Bromista .

I guess theres one thing to sum it all up : THE JEALOUSLY IS REAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or should i say : $ WINS AGAIN ?

thats whats every fucking RPG is about progress with your char with gear/xp/meta tali/meta pet and optimize your startegie.

yes lets turn very thing down so its fair between young guy and 3 year vet player.
lets start with lvl7 meta dragons turn them so they do same dmg as a WhiteWyrm for the overall fairness.






i still waiting for the proof that you can kill the warden EASY in 8minutes with 2ppl.
its just not possible.





warden dont give better loot than any other champ.
with 2 zerker and 2 meta mages you need from recalling in to kill the boss 24min +/- 2min.
the 24min dont include the time you need spending farming keys.
a good 4 player team can EASY kill most of the classic champs spawms in 24min.
